My fiance called on the phone and notified them that he had a service animal. Once we came to check in they had acted as if he never told them and were iffy taking his animals certificate saying “I’ve been working 11 days straight, you never called me”. It was very rude and we felt uncomfortable after that. My fiance and I work together at a restaurant, we chose this hotel as a weekend getaway at home. Since we had work we had to leave his service animal in the room where he had cool air, water, and food. When we came back late, the keycard did not work anymore, and we had to call front desk. When the owner came, he said “the dog was left alone and was barking at everyone”. My fiance made a review for us the other day. The owner has since responded harshly, falsely, and not making any sense in grammar or wording. I am physically and mentally disabled. How I was treated has since made me upset, sick to my stomach, and only aggravated me and my missus even more. We spent 3 nights at the hotel. First night we checked in late due to work. Next day we spent all day at the hotel, and when we weren't there, my service animal was with us. Third day, we were there together until 3 pm until we had to work. This caused us to have to come back at 11pm which is when we had to go to front desk to renew our key card. Posh Inn & Suites was exactly what I was looking for - an inexpensive place to stay near a family event. The rooms were clean, the staff was exceptional and nights were quiet. We had one room with two queen beds. The housekeeper and owner were both great - asking us if we needed anything, and then providing them with a smile and great attitude. Thanks!

I wish I had read the reviews before making our reservation. They say non-smoking but the room smelled like cigarettes and felt stuffy. The baseboards looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in years. When I lifted the toilet seat up, I could see a brown ring under the lip all around. Gross (I know what causes that). The furniture is in bad shape. There is no elevator, and the pool was out of service. And don't let the amenity "restaurant" fool you. It's a couple of vending machines with tables in the lobby. When we checked in, there was a sign posted stating to "pick up the phone and if nobody answers go to room 101 and knock on the door". It only took ten minutes to decide to leave our keys in the room and book out. I know we'll have to pay for the one night but spending it at the Hote
