Hotel Mead Resorts & Conventions Center

The soap was empty in the shower and the Kleenex box was empty. I told the front desk and when I returned I had fresh towels but they didn’t fill the soap, nor did they replace the empty Kleenex box. The trim around the elevator has been taped off for the past year, like they were going to paint it, but they still haven’t. Drywall in the room looks like it was repaired by an 8 year old. They seem to be sucking every $ out of this place but they aren’t sticking any $ into repairs. I won’t be staying again unless they start to care and make some improvements.

If you told me I was the first human to step on this property in 15 years, I’d believe that. The hotel is a step back in time. Room was poorly maintained and dirty. Door to bathroom didn’t open because it hit the toilet (with a ring from stagnant water). 2 of the 3 shower products were empty. Common areas aren’t bad, just dated. Hotel management needs to focus on renovating a dozen or two rooms and do a good job with those. Then continue the cycle. ||I have no idea how this place has a 4 star rating.||Room 170.

This place is abysmal. Stayed 2 nights. Rented a "conference room" for a business meeting. Conference room lighting not functional and neither bathroom had been cleaned. No soap or TP in one of them. Took 3 trips to the front desk and asking for a manager to get someone to at least clean the bathrooms. Ceiling tiles stained. Hotel room was no better. Bathroom floor had hair in corners. Mirrors had not been cleaned and had splatter on them. Walls splattered with various substances. Trash behind the bench near the door. Used fork between the bench and dresser. Stained, filthy mattress pad in one of the beds. Curtain above AC was spotted with mold. The health department really needs to pay this place a visit. I have photos of all issues. Room wasn’t very clean, bathroom had hair in the corners. There was left over dry dog food along the dresser on the floor. The fridge freezer was a block of ice. Very out dated room. The WiFi in our room was spotty and rarely connected, therefore the tv didn’t work. But in the hallway it was great. The bar area was supposed to have pool tables but they were moved to the ballroom and were unusable. Pros: The hotel was decorated cute for Halloween and the bar staff was friendly.

Positive: Good location Negative: Liquid soap in the shower was empty and the Kleenex box was empty. I told the lady at the front desk in the morning, but when I came back later in the day the towels were switched out, but no soap and no Kleenex. Very poor drywall repairs in our room.
