Ramada by Wyndham Virginia Beach

Positive: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Negative: The hotel was dirty and had a bad smell on the stairs leading up to the room. The first room we were assigned was not clean and still had dirty towels from the previous visitors. The room had NO air conditioning. The stairs had major rust issues.

The only good thing was the ocean view. The patio furniture was not clean, sand and dirty chairs. The rooms need’s to be updated such as paint, new carpet and furniture. Everything look old. The hallway temperature was very hot. The elevator was very sketchy and needs to be updated. The amount of money spend was definitely not worth it. Truly disappointing with not meeting standard care of relaxation! Unhappy customer!

Let's start with the staff, Anna was pleasant, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have assisting us. To be honest the entire staff even the housekeeping was very pleasant. Here is where it goes downhill. I stayed at the Ramada across the street from the oceanfront property. They share the same check in location, so if you plan on staying there just know you have to check in at the oceanfront location, which is directly across the street. The room was BOTTOM OF THE BOTTOM, very nasty and dated. The floor, curtains, and chairs were stained TERRIBLY!!!!! Because the beach was so packed this weekend we couldnt find a place to accommodate my group. I went to walkmart and got new sheets, pillowcases, and Im glad I always bring cleaning supplies with me cause they definitely came in handy. Now I

About the only thing I can say about this hotel is that it is beach front. That said, almost the entire boardwalk is lined with hotels, so there are plenty of other (I'd bet, BETTER) choices! This hotel needs to be remodeled. The furniture needs replacing. The ceiling paint is peeling off. Do you like cold showers? No problem.. definitely cold showers .bathroom is very small .. TV? stuck on setup . Remote doesn't work with it. Hallways are hot as you walk to your room. Elevators sound creepy. Bad odor on both hallway and elevator Inside pool, despite the claim on the sign.. not heated. The pools room is heated tho. Arcade?? Not all of the games work.. All of this for the price of the room, in addition to a $25 hidden "resort fee", which was NOT disclosed while booking!!

Please if you have kids that are on the spectrum And are ADHD please do not go to this hotel. They will make you feel unwanted. They told me and my family that we had 3 strikes and we had to leave their hotel due to my kids being loud in there hotel in which unfortunately they could not help. Go to a hotel that understands kids with ADHD/ spectrum issues. Not kid friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please spend your money elsewhere!
