Ramada by Wyndham Reno Hotel & Casino

My niece is a new student at UNR, and I needed a place to stay close to her school. The convenience of being just six minutes away was excellent.||||However, I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The carpets were filthy. The chair in the corner looked like it belonged in a dumpster—it was covered in stains. The desk chair was also dirty and unacceptable.||||I slept in the bed closest to the stained chair and noticed that a section of the wallpaper was visibly damaged. In addition, the bathroom vents were extremely dirty.||||Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and unfortunately, this stay did not meet that standard.

I want to begin by recognizing General Manager Adalberto Flores. He handled a previous issue during my stay with professionalism and accountability, and I respect the way he resolved it. However, a later incident involving Front Office Manager Mina Villalobos raises serious concerns about operational procedures and guest treatment. Another guest mistakenly provided my room number during their checkout. Without properly verifying identity, the hotel processed my room as checked out and refunded the remaining seven days of my prepaid stay (approximately $2000). This means a refund (around $700) was issued under my room number without confirming the correct guest identity. Shortly after, I received a call instructing me to vacate the room immediately. Positive: I did not get shot. There was a bullet hole covered up in the room by the bed I slept in. Negative: There was only two towel sets for 3 days for two people with no service unless asked for. I was uncomfortable to ask due to interaction with the staff.

It's an older place im a rougher type neighborhood but it is safe. The employees are great. It's not the Ramadas fault who lives around in the area. They all do their best to make it a good stay for their guests. Could it use a good remodel and update in furniture etc Yes but now a days who doesn't... if you want a warm shower and a warm bed for the night that cost an arm and a leg then this is the place!!

this hotel was one of the cheapest options available upon booking the same night. I was weary of the quality based on other reviews, but delightfully surprised by the exceptional service and cleanliness of the entire facility and especially the room. Cute retro tiling in the bathroom, very clean products and nice fresh smell everywhere you go. Would stay again. You get some free stuff for the attached casino when you sign up to stay.
