Ramada by Wyndham Oklahoma City Airport North — S Meridian Area I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel regarding their deposit policy and additional fees. I paid for my room online in full, expecting a smooth check-in, but was still required to leave a $40 deposit. After checkout, the hotel kept my deposit, claiming it was a $25 smoking fee — even though I specifically stated I did not want a smoking room. What makes this situation more frustrating is that I was told all rooms are non-smoking per fire department regulations, yet I was still charged a smoking-related fee. I booked here while in Oklahoma City for a night to accompany my father to his US Citizenship appointment at the USCIS Field Office. I chose this Ramada primarily due to its nightly rate, the lowest of the area hotels for a double room, as well as its proximity to the USCIS office near the airport, so I came in with essentially no expectations given spotty reviews.||The location is primarily targeted at those with activities near the airport or flying to and from and is within a cluster of hotels south of I-40. ||The room itself was solid though pretty bare bones and quite odd in terms of its setup. There was a sitting area with a table and two chairs and a mini fridge and a microwave but the room just felt empty. There wasn't a traditional desk area and the dresser that the TV was on was

Positive: Affordable Negative: I didn't even stay in the room because there was roaches and wasps flying around inside the room. There was mold, bathroom vents was caked with dust.

While checking in for a 4 night stay law enforcement entered the lobby looking for a suspect. The location among other hotels in the area is a hot spot for shady characters. The building was well lit outside with a high visibility of security patrols in the area. There were no other law enforcement encounters during my stay. There was a flood on the third floor all the way down to the lobby. The sprinkler system had burst. The fire department responded. It took only the next day to make the scene look like it never happened. Thumbs up to the competent leadership that handled these situations where they didn't escalate negatively. The rooms were well maintained and the beds very comfortable. I would stay here again. Thank you Ramada!!

Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good, especially having so long in the morning to get it-from 6am till 9am. The staff was very welcoming, for the most part. The evening/overnight gentleman at the desk was kind of sour. The daytime staff was wonderful! Rooms were reasonably priced for what we got. I would stay here again!
