Ramada by Wyndham Ellsworth

The hotel is located in a parking lot of a major strip mall. We were given a room that had minimal electrical power. The entire wall outlets on the bed side of the room were dead. An electrician was to fix the problem the next day. It never happened. No communication between front desk and maintenance. Maintenance claimed 141 was not to be rented out, yet that was where we were placed. The breakfast "that is free" was below average in terms of quality and selection. We couldn't eat there. I will not book at Wyndham again. I had similar issues with this chain in 2005 and quit using them- thought I'd try again- not a good choice on my part.

It's a new place and newly renovated. Overall it was a pretty decent experience. The very best experience was the helpful front desk girl. Blonde hair glasses very pretty very friendly very nice. She needs a raise lol. Was very expensive unfortunately. We had a plumbing issue at my house and had no water and with a wife and two daughters we all need to shower. So instead of staying at home which was 10 minutes away we got a room and enjoyed ourselves for the evening. Over 230 bucks for a room and it was a weekday night so it wasn't peak time. The biggest issue was from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. there was nobody working the front desk. I feel that is a huge problem and many many ways whether it be safety or whether it be customer satisfaction it is very very dangerous in my opinion. I'm sure

Not worth the money. Breakfast subpar ended up going to McDonald's for breakfast after trying hotel breakfast. Comparable to bedt western might even be below that. Way to much money for a subpar room.

I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were modern and clean. Location was good. Internet was fast and reliable. Staff were friendly and responsive. Would stay here again.

This is in a perfect location for us between Bangor and Bar Harbor. The kitchenette as well as the grocery store next door help save money on the trip as well as allowing for special diets, etc. When we checked in we got a package of maps, coupons, etc, as well as a gift package for the dogs. There’s so much to do there- it was nice being able to have a quiet and comfortable base. Fitness room was in great shape and we got what we needed at breakfast. Coffee and tea available all day.
