1 Star – Terrible experience, do NOT recommend This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. The room had cockroaches, a strong bad smell, and dirty bed sheets. The conditions were very poor and not clean. I stayed both nights only because I had no other option. It also felt like people were living there, and there was construction and painting going on, which made the smell even worse. In the middle of the night, the smoke detector alarm started going off, which was very stressful and scary. The phone to contact the front desk did not work, and my room key stopped working, so it was very hard to get help. On top of everything, I was charged an extra $100 with no clear explanation. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The exterior is nothing like the interior. The exterior looks like the slums, including the entrance to the rooms and the hallway. Breakfast was missing items such as pancakes and waffles. They only had sausages and scrambled eggs, cereal, and milk, and an assortment of bread and pastries. The building is under construction, so don’t mind the exterior if you can tolerate it.

Overall great experience! Friendly and helpful staff, and clean rooms. They are doing remodeling so weren’t able to use pool, and no elevator which was a little inconvenient since I had little ones traveling with me being on the second floor.

The rooms were great for the price. Rooms were clean, newly renovated, comfortable beds, good TV, cold refrigerator, good heater/AC, good Internet, nice shower and bathrooms, good price. The common areas appeared to be in a perpetual renovation, the exterior of the hotel was in need of lots of updates.

Positive: There was a gentleman working there at the desk who was helpful - came out and showed me where to go and made sure I could get in, which was good because the environment was dimly lit and scary. Negative: Nobody at the desk when I arrived ~7pm. There was a man standing in the parking lot for hours as if selling something. I did not feel particularly safe. The room was smelly but clean. Significant hallway noise and trucks in and out. I did not sleep.
