Ramada By Wyndham Brooklyn Near Flatbush

I really liked this hotel! I was in Brooklyn for one night only and this gave me a good price. You get what you pay for, so if you’re expecting a huge room or five star restaurant breakfast, this isn’t it, but I think for what I paid it was very nice! You can tell it’s recently built/renovated, and the rooms are cute. It’s small (it’s New York 🤷🏼‍♀️) and seems tidy. The floors were tacky, but I can tell if that’s by design due to the type of flooring in the room. My biggest concern was roaches, mice or bed bugs and I haven’t seen any of the above! The staff is attentive and works hard to make your trip good. I was able to get an early check in (a hour early) because of one of the workers attentiveness. I booked this hotel because the ones we usually stay at in Sheepshead bay were sold out and we needed to visit family nearby. I figured the hotel seemed new so it couldn’t be too bad.|We had a 2 double bed room that was extremely small meaning you had to climb on the bed to access the a/c unit because the bed was literally stuck to the wall on that side and there was no more than 1 foot separating the beds.|As well it’s important to note that the beds are double size and not queen, so they’re 6 inches smaller.|The beds were comfortable though.|The only lighting in the room were the 2 fixtures pictured however they were both on the same switch meaning you could only have both lights on or off, no other lighting was provided.|The bathroom had a sliding door that had no handle.|The bathroom s

A few weeks ago I reserved three nights at Ramada by Wyndham, located by Flatbush, and the stay was far below acceptable standards. I strongly advise against booking this hotel. The rooms are extremely small, the smell of weed is constant throughout the building, and the walls are so thin that you can hear every conversation and noise from the surrounding rooms. For the high price they charge, the overall quality is shocking The room service is completely unreliable incredibly slow and often incorrect, if it even shows up at all. This is only a 2-star hotel, so I wasn't expecting anything out of this world, and I would say that for its rating it really delivers. Sure, the rooms are small, but this is NYC. I've seen worse in Europe. Everything in the hotel looks pretty new. The rooms are quite well-appointed and have all the amenities you would expect in a hotel of this rating. The A/C and the blackout curtains work very well. The overhead lighting is extremely bright, but there is ambient lighting behind the TV. I couldn't hear my neighbors through the ceiling or the walls.
