Rainbow Bend State Forest Campground

Generally clean and well kept. Woods are full of cut down trees, why can't we also just split the wood and offer it up for campers? We canoed in, the "dock" could really use an easier way to get your boat out of the water.

Always a great trip. We where the only ones there the weekend after labour day. Paddle time was great as always

The place is great for rustic camping. Spacious lot, outhouse was just cleaned, probably because we were early in the season. River is close by. Lots of wood you can use for your bon fire. But beware. We left a day early because there was too many ticks. Found at least like 20 on us or our gear. And we have 2 dogs too. So it didnt help. Come prepared for infested ticks or dont come at all.

Legit. Vault toilets and access to the river. I would say not rv friendly, just my opinion. I mean you could maybe get in without damage.
