Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago

Our Perspective As someone who owns and manages three restaurants in the Chicago suburbs and oversees events at all three, I understand what seamless execution should look like. We are also from Italy, and food was the most important element of our wedding, so we had very high standards going into the process. We hosted a 400 person wedding in February 2026. Here are our thoughts: The Venue Coordinator: Tara Tara, the hotel wedding coordinator, was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, she went above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, she was somehow everywhere at once, making sure every detail was handled on her end, and every guest was taken care of. I am so satisfied with the Radisson Aqua Blu. I give an A+ rating in all areas - atmosphere, location, value/price, Room size, layout & esthetics. The bed was comfortable and pillows fluffy and soft. The bedding was clean and fresh! Tge view was wonderful. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. This hotel choice made my 50th birthday so special! I plan to return in the summer with daughter!

Staff was wonderful, they made the stay very pleasant. The rooms are really nice, especially the tub and view. Food was delicious. The lobby was lovely and I really liked the placement of my room - right by the elevators and by the corner. Didn't make it a 10 for the following reasons: though there is a pool area and hot tub, the pool was cloudy and the space wasn't as luxurious as I thought but still a nice place. No locker rooms to put things but did have showers. Heard ppl arguing through the vent in the bathroom. Other than that, everyone was really great.

My husband and I travel often, and the Radisson Blu Chicago has consistently been our number one hotel choice. Because of our past positive experiences, we chose to spend our Valentine’s weekend there again, expecting the same level of comfort and attention to detail we’ve always appreciated. Unfortunately, this visit left us feeling disappointed. While most aspects of our stay initially seemed fine, we noticed pink rose petals on the floor behind the curtains. This raised concerns about the thoroughness of the room cleaning, as it suggested the space may not have been fully serviced after the previous guests, especially during a high-traffic holiday weekend. I’ll be honest, after reading some mixed reviews I was a little nervous, but my stay at the Radisson turned out really nice. The customer service was great everyone I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. We ordered room service and the food was actually good! It didn’t taste processed at all. I had the steak, potatoes, and asparagus, and everything was seasoned well. The only thing I would point out is housekeeping. Whoever handles that area might want to pay closer attention to detail. There was noticeable dust on the blinds and lamps, and when I wiped down a few areas with my own disinfectant wipes, the spots came up pretty easily. It wasn’t anything that made me uncomfortable, but a deeper clean or updated cleaning products could really make a difference. Overall, we truly enjo
