Quality Suites Baton Rouge East - Denham Springs

Very good hotel overall (7.8/10). Stayed 2 nights in May. Quite a nice, carpeted suite. Very spacious. Everything worked as it should. Comfy bed with very good pillows. Bathroom was a decent size, and the shower was good. TV was very good, lots of channels with a navigable TV guide. Staff were a bit of a mixed bag, not overly welcoming at check-in but the morning staff were great. Breakfast was pretty good (for context I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast). The breakfast area itself isn't all that big, but the lobby is and has many chairs. Parking was good. I would definitely stay again, as for the price paid ($67 total) it was very good value.

This was our third stay here in the last 12 months. All times the rooms have been clean. Previously the mattress was too soft/worn. This time we checked out the mattress first and it was firm. We always stay in a King suite and stayed in room 202. Front desk is friendly and getting extra towels is no problem. The towels are decent quality. Not paper thin or worn. The entrance is quirky , having to enter a separate drive with potholes. The breakfast could be better. No yogurt, hard boiled eggs, or fruit. The standard waffle maker, egg patty and sausage, white bread/bagel, and little muffins. I was happy with cereal and 2% milk. Water pressure was good for showers. The room conditions were extremely low. The tv wouldn't change channels the bed was uncomfortable. The shower was dirty and the drainage is horrible. Worst experience ive ever had staying at a hotel. Im extremely disappointed with choice. The customer service was horrible just bad. I am considering going to a different hotel chain after this last experience. Money is tight so when I spend it I expect to feel good about it. I didnt after this...very disappointed again

The price was remarkable. The lady at the front desk, upon check-in was extremely professional, friendly, and courteous She was knew to the job, however, acted as though she has been on the job for years.| The facility itself is a little run down. Though it looks as though they're in the midst of renovating the hotel.| The room itself was nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just OK.

The room we reserved had been checked out to someone else. No stopper in the sink. The shower handle did not work properly. The clothes rack was lower on the left side than the right. The outside and the lobby look good. The room had maintenance issues that could easily be fixed. The room was dark. The staff was professional.
