Quality Inn Tucumcari

This was very disappointing of all the places I have encountered. The room reeked of dog urn and the floors were saturated. The carpets were dingy and I didn’t feel comfortable staying at this hotel. There were dead bugs on the floor, and I expect a room to be sanitized. The bathtub was not user friendly-slippery. The floors in the dining room were sticky. There was also not much variety in the breakfast bar. The ambiance was anything of clean or inviting the customer. I have been in South Sudan and had better accommodations and cleanliness. I thought that the Quality Inn didn’t hold up to the quality of other Quality Inn establishments that I have visited.

The property is a bit run down. Attempts have been made at renovations but it’s also obvious corners were cut. Now that the bad is out of the way- the staff was excellent and it was obvious that they took pride in making the hotel the best they could make it. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING and I appreciated their overall attentiveness. Finally, the bed was very comfy. Would stay again!

The hotel is a convenient stop for me during my work travels. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, but a bit dated. The exterior grounds need to have some attention. As a pet owner it is a problem walking my pet in the almost non existing grass areas and in the grass areas many weeds and stickers are present. The staff are helpful and pleasant which enhances the stay.

Is this the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in? Absolutely not. That being said, it was a GREAT value for the price I paid. Room was clean, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the bed was soft which was great after a long day of traveling. Breakfast the next morning was also included which was a nice added bonus! Would recommend!

I booked us a room for a single night stay at the Quality Inn Tucumcari as we just passing through. Close enough to the highway but not too close to hear road traffic. The room itself was satisfactory. Outdated YES, but serviced both my wife and my needs along with our two grandchildren’s satisfactory. The carpet was not vacuumed as there were numerous cockleburs that pricked us in the bare feet as we walked around. We had to do a thorough cleanup of this immediately. The shower worked well enough for 4 and hot water lasted for all. The beds were sufficient and the morning continental breakfast was more than satisfactory. The offerings went from waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, to bagels, toast, cold and hot cereals, yogurt and fruit, along with coffee and juices. Something for
