Historic Route 66 Motel

My husband was skeptical after reading the two previous reviews regarding the owner, but I was already paying for our room. Here is my honest opinion: I called before we got there to ensure room availability upon my arrival the owner white tall man bald greet me very welcoming recognized my voice, he was super nice he asked where we come from And where we were headed to . He shared with me he served the military. Thank you for your service sir.

Super comfortable, roomy and clean. Room was great but the young lady working there was better. Friendly, knowledgable & helpful. She & her husband are the owner/operators. Many local motels on Route 66 were closed Thanksgiving week but these folks were going strong. Will visit again!

Owner was super friendly. Checking was fast and friendly. Room was clean and cozy. Would recommend!

I've been looking through the motels list in this trip advisor website.|At least (strictly in my opinion that is....LOL ) the Historic Route 66 Motel is by far f the best in Tucumcari if you are one of the "Looking for a retro motel of the Route 66 era." Again, this is just a recommendation and suggestion, so check it out for yourself.

lovely authentic americana motel with beautiful decorated interior and really nice owner. definitely recommended
