Quality Inn & Suites Waco North

This was the second or third time I stayed here. The other time(s) was/were great, which is why I returned. After this visit, I will not. I gave two stars for 1) the personnel and 2)protein options in the breakfast I wish this allowed me to send pictures I took. I endured the following: 1. The hand towel by the sink--when I arrived--had a stain on it that looked like blood. I honestly felt worried about the bed sheets because of that. I turned the towel in to the front-desk clerk Saturday morning. She apologized profusely. 2. The shower curtain was also stained. It's gross. 3. The sofa is falling apart. 4. The door to the bathroom/shower is falling apart at the bottom. 5. But the scariest of all: This morning, as I was blowing my hair dry, there was a loud noise, then a major spark, and

This hotel is so nice. Especially for the price. I agree with another reviewer that said it should be a 3 star hotel instead of 2 star. Lobby is very clean with a fresh and tasty breakfast. The staff is kind and attentive. You can really tell they take care of their hotel and customers.

It was OK for just our overnight stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was a very hot afternoon when we checked in. We went to our room overlooking the pool and noticed some people who had been swimming were out of the pool and it was being cleaned. When the cleaners left, we went down to the pool to swim. It was locked and we were told it would be opened back up in about 2 hours (turned out to be more like 3) because they had to shock it! Really?!? You clean the pool in the middle of a very hot afternoon and keep it closed until at least 6pm? Unacceptable! The breakfast was just OK. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffle machine, very little bread choice, yogurt and cereal. For the price, I can't complain too much, but I sure would've liked to cool off in the pool.

The room was nice, clean, and quite large (more like a long-term stay room). The breakfast was worth going to - had a delicious Texas shaped waffle, and my husband had eggs, a biscuit, and two sausage patties.

We walked in the front door and learned that we’d made a huge error in our hotel booking. Without a moment’s hesitation, the desk clerk corrected the error for us and treated us with professionalism and friendliness. Over the decades, Choice Hotels has gone to great lengths to earn and keep our business. A slip-up like this, even though it was our mistake (working with a Website that apparently reset a reservation date) would have left a bad taste of disappointment with us. Instead, this hotel treated us as if our business matters a great deal to them. Because of this, our next reservations will be within the Choice family. Thanks to this hotel for saving some bad feeling that would have benefitted no one. Thank you!
