Quality Inn & Suites NRG Park - Medical Center

I know we all see many reviews and wonder if they are real. Here is a real review and the reason I will stay nowhere else in Houston from now on... The phacility is somewhat older and shows it age, but all the rooms are comfortable, spacious , and functional. The price is quite reasonable (and even on the low side to be truthful) We have been here nearly 1 month as our Daughter was involved in an accident and has been in teh ICU at a Memorial Herman. We started with 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. One room the blow drier did not function. I mentioned it and that equipmetn was replaced that day prior to our return from the hospital. Both rooms were clean and free of any issues other than their age. Later, I found hat they had suites and we moved to a suite. This came with a livingroom

Ups: The 1 bedroom suite was absolutely incredible. One room had 2 queen bds w/bathroom. The other room was a living room with a queen size sofa bed, desk, extra seat and a bathroom. Both rooms had a TV. |Downs: hair drier didn’t work in one of the bathrooms. And the light/vent on the other made a horrible noise. ||There is free parking but we had cars burglarize during the night ( we stayed for Rolling Stones concert). Not the hotel fault. So make sure you don’t leave anything visible in your car. ||They were booked so there was hardly any breakfast items when we went to eat. Close to 9 am.

This was absolutely the next to the worse hotel stay ever! The worst being the one with bedbugs. Our stay involved moving twice to three different rooms. The third room was the least dirty even though the security latch was hanging off the wall. Here are some notes of the abominable stay, not including the rudeness of the desk clerk probably due to frustration of the cleaning and maintenance staff. I have photographs showing some of the issues. NRG Quality Inn Stay November 9-10 room 170 Feces in the clogged toilet. Beds made with dirty sheets. room 122 TV doesn't work. Dimming and blinking light. Bathroom shower ceiling is peeling. room 123 Security lock/latch screws coming out and latch is very loose. The bottom of the wall next to the bathtub was cracked and moldy. Again, bathroom

From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a great stay. Front desk staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfy. The hotel was very quiet, cozy and homey. Breakfast was great and breakfast staff was very attentive to keeping it stocked. Felt very safe too. Overall, just a lovely,lovely stay!

Staff was super nice. Breakfast was amazing for what you would expect and I know it’s weird to say but those carpets and rooms are super clean. Also nice having a suite. And super easy to walk to nrg stadium. I know Houston has its history but I totally felt safe and comfortable there. The house keeping also made our beds even tho we had so much clothes sitting on it. And they put everything back right where it was
