Quality Inn & Suites Memphis East

The road had trash all over and the first room that we got the door wouldn’t open because the battery was dead in the key card sensors. They sent us to another room which we actually got to get into and it was not the jacuzzi suite that I booked . The lady told me I didn’t book a jacuzzi suite when I did but the room that we did go in had wore out furniture so did the lobby and just looked trashy. Also it smells like stunk the whole time from people smoking weed when the hotel has a non smoking policy. Also since they tried downgrading my room I just asked for a refund since they didn’t have the room I booked and she told me I wouldn’t get a refund for their mess up.

Got to the hotel checked in then checked out an hour later . I ran for the hills. The hotel was more like a hostel accommodating the homeless . A resident asked me for money . My room was loveless and uncared for . The door lock was damaged so I didn’t feel secure . The curtains hanging off the rail . The bath was filthy the pool was covered over decorated with rubbish and empty beer cans . The room smelled of stale cigarettes and there was no welcome pack . What more , WiFi was troublesome . I had no connections to my family and reception wasn’t helpful . I started to panic as I was alone far away from home . The reception were not professional and there was no compassion regarding my concerns . I checked out immediately . I wouldn’t sleep in the bed let alone eat their food . Three star

First off I had to wait 40 minutes after check in time for them to make a bed they claim. Then I get into room finally and it’s not that clean and the heat in room wasn’t working and it was cold, so I go back to desk and they change my room. I get into the new room and it’s basically the same but the tv isn’t working at all so I tell them and they send someone to swap tv from another room which took him like 30 minutes or more because he couldn’t get screws out of tv base. Finally get that fixed so I rush to get into the shower because I was getting ready to head out for a minute, turn on the water in shower and the hot water wasn’t working. At that point I was irritated because room wasn’t even that clean and now no hot water. So I tell them about that and they claim some hot water pipe w

I use to love this place. The last few times I've been it's been going down. This time my husband booked the jacuzzi suite for the weekend, we got there and there were people everywhere cleaning rooms, loud rap music playing, trash and cleaning supplies all up and down the hallway just thrown about (not cleaning carts) we get into our room which is almost straight across from the laundry area where again they were doing ALL of their cleaning at 7pm on. Friday night. Halloween to be exact. I decided to just light a candle and start the tub anyway.. well, NO HOT WATER at ALL! The lady at the front desk said maybe because they were doing laundry and went to ask. Nope, they hadn't had any hot water all day! So why was she still booking rooms? Especially a jacuzzi suite?! This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in, I booked the hot tub suite, get there n & they tell me its not working, not only that, but tv did not work, we sat n silence for 5 hours untill sumbody came to fix it... the heat also did not work n the room... room 227 should not be rented out... the worst valentine's day ever... then all the junkies walking around the property at nite didn't make it better... the staff was no help at all... it also isn't a drink machine at all on the property, the breakfast was very awful, eggs on a pan sitting on a hot plate, no fruit, no pastries, just eggs & toast that they dnt want u to take to yo room...
