We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Pontotoc. As Memphis locals doing a little staycation, we weren’t sure what to expect — but it completely exceeded it. The hotel perfectly captures that authentic Memphis vibe: soulful, stylish, and effortlessly cool without trying too hard. 🎶 The design feels intentional and local, not cookie-cutter, and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. It honestly felt like we got to experience our own city in a fresh, elevated way. A highlight of the night was visiting The Dame, the hotel’s speakeasy. If you're visiting Memphis, you need to stay here! Rooms were beautiful, very well decorated, and the building had incredible character. The staff told us all about the ties with Elvis, which made us feel like we were staying in a small part of Memphis history. They also had a great bar called The Dame. Very cozy vibes, great drinks and small bites! We will definitely be back.

Made us love Memphis again. We haven’t been back in a while, but decided to stay here (in the ada suite) and absolutely loved the location (walkable and safe to so many wonderful places). Also loved the way it was renovated to the time period and the history noted in each room. Kyla made sure everything was perfect and hand writes notes to each guest. The Dame bar is also a must with great music. We will be back!

Hotel Pontotoc blended the nostalgia of a historical Memphis property with the modern convenience of online booking, contactless check-in and code access security. The first thought of not having hotel staff on premises 24/7 was a little unusual to me at first, but it works here very nicely. I recommend you take a minute to read the hotel directory in your room upon arrival. You will find they have nicely addressed questions and concerns you may have. The property is simply amazing. With a nod to the 1920’s and 30’s era combined with modern amenities makes each room a unique experience. I know you looked at the photos on their website. Simply beautiful.
