La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Memphis Wolfchase

Positive: The landscape outside was very pretty and it was clean inside. The breakfast was well put together Negative: The pictures on the internet. Did not match the room. The furniture appeared worn and there faded spots on the furniture. Like the furniture was second hand. There Brown tiny bugs flying around the room. Maybe fleas ? Internet went out for

Hotel is sandwiched between a gas station and Hooters. Blinds were broken, dumpster was overflowing, room was dingy, and walls were thin. I could hear and feel everything happening next door. Front desk attendant was helpful and moved me to a different room, but I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was bigger than we anticipated which was nice and it was clean. The indoor pool was cold and the “hot tub” didn’t even get warm. When we went to ask for an extra pillow the lady at the front desk said they were out of them and of towels which seems pretty ridiculous for the weekend. I wish they had at least one non-pork meat option at the breakfast bar but that’s pretty normal for most hotels. It wasn’t the worst but also not sure we’d rebook.

The only positive aspect of this stay was the in-person check-in experience. The front desk staff was polite, and the process was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and overall experience did not meet expectations. The walls were visibly dirty, and the furniture appeared outdated with noticeable peeling and wear. The walls seemed extremely thin or hollow, as noise traveled easily throughout the building. I could hear neighboring guests clearly, conversations in adjacent rooms, people walking up and down the hallway, and even normal activity throughout the floor. The air conditioning unit was also very loud, which made it difficult to rest comfortably. Additionally, hotel staff knocked on the door at 9:00 AM despite checkout not being until 11:00 AM, which felt

It was my fault … but they fixed it. I booked a room for the right day but wrong month. The great front desk staff found me a room for the night and the awesome manager Angel went over and above to help me obtain a refund from the original booking agency. Fantastic customer service and accommodations. Thank You!
