They charge you a giant incidental fee. Don't update amenities available. On a business trip for work, breakfast was supposed to be available, wasn't made known until after I checked in and paid (twice), and asked what time breakfast was. That adds extra money to my trip that wasn't planned, plus the $160 incidental fee. Luckily I'm fine money wise, but if you were up here and on a super tight budget with your family, that could've screwed you. They have dirty, dingy motel rooms between the office and the beachfront rooms, one I was thrown in. Upon complaint of the smell, they moved me. When I called Priceline and asked for vouchers or to cancel my trip, the manager said no and that he "upgraded" me to a king suite to make up for no breakfast. Which was a bold faced lie. The hotel was in horrible condition. The outside was run down and needed repairs. We were on the third floor , which was fine, but the outside stairs were rotting and smelled moldy. The front door of our room had 1 “ gaps on the top and bottom and the back sliding door’s lock was broken. The balcony’ carpet was covered in algae and filthy. The room had newer wood paneling, old smelly carpet and worn out dresser and end tables. The miniature TV ‘s remote did not work. The bathroom had a huge shower stall ( looked new) that was set up for handicapped access without any shelves or places to put hair products or body soap, and had a curtain that wrapped around your legs while showering. My husband and I rode our motorcycle from Ohio to Copper Harbor for his birthday. As we usually do, I book a hotel room when we're on the bike and feeling like we need to stop. Needless to say, it was labor day weekend and the bridge walk was going on. Rooms were outrageous and $293 was the least expensive I could find out of what was available. We've stayed at numerous choice hotels before, they were great, and the pictures of this "beachfront" choice hotel looked inviting! Little did we know, the little strip that looks like the bates motel was part of it and that is where they stuck us. Right by the road, not beach front, not in the nice hotel of the pictures. Very unfriendly staff !! Receptionist working the front desk, acted as if it was a Great bother to ans any questions!! Not just to me but to anyone checking in! There was. NO Breakfast area & no breakfast offered! As far as the rooms. Appeared as if it had been a run down hotel. Somewhat renovated now. Our rm the outside door, when shut, you could see outside😳😬! Totally unacceptable!! Especially for the price I paid..over 100 dollars. REALLY !! The bathroom door had a fist size hole in it ! The towel rack was bent into. There was only one bar of soap What I'm suppose to use the same bar for a hand washing also for showering REALLY..the list goes on & on! I had made reservations for a room on the beach. On arrival we were told that that type of rm would be an up grade of $30. Ended up

1. Elevator to rooms was dirty. Looked as if not cleaned for who knows how long. 2. Chose this place because of the advertised hot tub. There was 6 inches of water in the tub. Not heated. Not usable entire time. This was disappointing. 3. The pool water was extremely cloudy. Not sure if it was safe to enter or not. 4. There were no wash clothes or hand towels in our room. 5. There were visible spiders and webs on room entry ceiling. 6. Shower curtain was filthy. 7. Couldn't use freezer because of huge buildup of frost. 8. Couldn't adjust frig temp because there was no knob. 9. This place has some sites advertising a grab and go breakfast and pictures of a nice dining area with food counter. This didn't exist. It was a housekeeping storage area. . 10. There was no bar soap in the room. 11
