Quality Inn & Suites Galveston - Beachfront

We enjoyed our stay! Updated, Comfortable, clean, large rooms, with beautiful balcony views! Pool was heated perfectly! Breakfast was well beyond out expectations! Staff was super helpful and friendly! Only thing id suggest it adding a handle in the showers, cause our tube was slippery! We would definitely recommend this to anyone! What a great place at a great value! Ohhh and of course the free popcorn in the lobby daily was a nice evening snack!

My best friend and I stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites Galveston - Beachfront on January 15 for two nights. We found the room to be clean and comfortable, offering plenty of space for relaxing and sleeping. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the Gulf from our upper-floor room. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful recommendations on what to see and do during our full day before the cruise. Doc Holiday's Roadhouse, conveniently located next to the hotel, was fantastic; we dined there twice and plan to do so again when we return to Galveston. In the future, we intend to stay at this hotel again, opting to drive instead of taking the train to Houston. We will write another review during our next visit and share details about the parking experience.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 20 times in the last 10 years and they are consistently the best value and experience for a simple family getaway at the beach. The staff are always nice, the manager cares about the travel community, the view is great, the costs are reasonable, and the breakfast is always hot. The two times I have had an issue arise it was always dealt with promptly. Whether you are staying for a beach vacation, the night before a cruise, or for business it is worth it.

We were very pleased with the comfort, cleanliness, location, staff friendliness, and affordability. The door to our balcony was complicated to open, though it appeared as they are updating many aspects of the hotel. We found the free parking and indoor heated pool as additional perks, oh and breakfast was way better than other hotels we've visited recently. It was really neat to lay in bed and watch the waves from every window (ask for room 421 or 420).

Hotel is being remodeled but is still booking guests without disclosing it or giving refunds. Breakfast is still provided but down the street at another hotel. Only one functional elevator at the back of the property. I understand the need to remodel but hiding it from prospective guests is wrong. Not offering refunds is wrong. Whoever is in charge is failing miserable at managing this remodeling. Quality Inn corporate, do you know what is going on here?
