Quality Inn & Suites Clackamas - Portland

I stayed at this Quality Inn for one night, and I’m still not entirely sure if I checked into a hotel or accidentally joined a low-budget reality show called “Survivor: Continental Breakfast.” The room was clean, which is always my top priority. By “clean,” I mean no visible stains forming new continents and no mysterious smells that make you question your life choices. The bed was surprisingly comfortable—like sleeping on a marshmallow that’s seen some things but has grown from the experience. The decor was peak “early 2000s road trip chic.” If you enjoy beige, slightly darker beige, and hints of beige with a personality, you’ll feel right at home. The TV worked, the Wi-Fi existed (emotionally, at least), and the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine but bravely kept the room cold. Br

First, the good: the check in was smooth and the people I dealt with were very helpful. But, I had a VERY difficult time finding this hotel in the first place. Access to the parking lot is through a very busy strip mall complex and the signage to direct you to the hotel isn't just inadequate, it doesn't exist. I was upgraded to a "kitchen suite" when my original room wasn't ready. Although it had a sink and dish drainer there was NO silverware or dishware which was puzzling (I wouldn't have used them...just thought it was odd they weren't provided in a so called kitchen suite).

Positive: Room was clean and what I needed. Breakfast was good, bed was soft Negative: Pretty small room but it does the job

We are military traveling cross country and this was by far worst ever. The bed you can feel the springs and showered with no hot water. We checked out due to lack of water and terrible bed and are still being charged another night even tho we aren't staying here another night. I feel we should of at least received a discount on the room and no charge for another night

This was an OK place for the price, acceptably clean, good location. I would stay here again. Problems noted: 1) Wifi was unusable in room 221, 2)Heater control had too wide a range, either too warm or too cold, alternating, throughout the night. 3) A number of guests were hanging around the exterior doors, smoking.
