Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea

I had a flawless experience at this hotel. Check in and out were very easy, plenty of parking right outside hotel, 2 minute drive from the beach. The room felt comfortable and clean. Worth the price, definitely. Breakfast could be a bit more extensive but the coffee was very good! I had such an amazing stay and excited to come back.

I recently stayed at your hotel on a business trip. I had important documents and all my personal belongings in my room. When I returned from one of my meetings in the evening I noticed my room entry door was wide open. I thought the maid was cleaning the room but she was nowhere to be found. I panicked and call the front desk. The lady at the front desk laughed and told me that door sometime doesn’t close or lock and they have the same problems with a couple rooms doing the same thing. She was also rude to me over the phone!!! Nothing was stolen but this is unacceptable!! Why doesn’t the hotel fix it? Why did they give me that room knowing the front door has issues? I was there on an off season , and on Monday and Tuesday, so I know there were plenty of rooms available. This hotel needs

We've stayed at this hotel several times for work and have been happy. This time however we had the unfortunate experience of having a family above us that did not respect the fact that this is a shared space and that the things they allow their children to do (JUMPING from the bed for HOURS) affect other people and their stay. The jumping upstairs was so bad our headboard was bouncing. 4 out of the 5 nights we stayed here was unbearable.. to the point where we just tried to stay away as long as we could but we were working and needed sleep. The front desk lady was so nice and tried her best to get these people to be respectful of others but they felt entitled to 'have a good time' regardless of who they are keeping awake or miserable having to deal with the JUMPING. I was concerned about how close to the freeway it was but there was no freeway noise in my room. Comfortable bed. Shower head worked well. Bathtub. Every room has a small deck or patio with 2 chairs. Refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. Lounge chair with ottoman. Ample size room.

We stayed here as we were coming to the end of our mini road trip through California and wanted to stay somewhere local for SFO. It was a last minute decision to head towards the coast and we’re so glad we did. The check in lady was pleasant and very helpful. Parking was easy and plenty of spaces to choice from. The room was large, very clean and very quiet even though it was next to the highway. Capitola is underrated in my eyes, maybe because of Carmel down the coast. Capitola is a hidden gem. A wonderful town full of nice people and cute little shops. We would definitely stay at Quality Inn again.
