Quality Inn Spearfish I-90

Did not have a great experience with desk staff, specifically the manager. She was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to even try to help me. I was offered the owner of the building's number for the help I asked for. When I asked when would be a good time to call the owner, I was just told to leave a message because she didn't know if she would answer at this point. ( I needed help cancelling a reservation due to a sick child with more than a 24 hours notice) Will not book there again.

We recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Spearfish and unfortunately were not happy with our experience. The room felt old and outdated, with worn furniture and a large hole in the credenza where it appeared a TV should have been placed in front of the bed. Instead, there was a very small TV off to the side, making it hard to see from the bed. The biggest issue was the noise from the neighboring room whenever they turned on the water to their tub or shower. The first time it happened, it was so loud it startled us, and we weren’t sure if something was wrong in our own room. We eventually figured it out, but it occurred every night for about 15 minutes during the time we wanted to watch TV, making it impossible to hear our show. Price was reasonable for the area. Got a second floor room by the road but did not hear any road noise. Be aware that there is not an elevator. Room was surprisingly big but the bathroom was very small. Extra plugs on the nightstand were a big plus. Internet speed was decent. Shower head was loooow. Talking like barely 5 ft high but the water pressure was good. Be careful when turning on the shower it is scalding!!!

Excellent place to stay. Very clean, very friendly, great price. I made great friends with the owners and the staff. Hayley, and Marta that work at Quality Inn were 2 hard workers and had great personalities. This was a A+++ place to stay at. The coffee was super fantastic and I will miss. And breakfast was also great.

I wasn't able to use the jacuzzi like I had hoped to because it didn't plug properly and all it did was leak. Other than that the visit was fine. By the time I got to breakfast there were no eggs and I was disappointed. But had my usual waffles and yogurt.
