Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Spearfish

Hotel is right off highway 90. Decent hotel for passing through Spearfish. We were on vacation, coming from Devils Tower heading to the Sturgis and then the Badlands. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small but okay. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special but decent for our family. Hot items including eggs, sausage and waffles. We were happy with our stay and would stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast is good, especially the biscuits and gravy.

Hotel was a mixed bag of tourists and contractors, I being a contractor. Stayed a week there before moving hotels closer to Rapid City. Spearfish is bit away from all the tourist attractions but more than accommodating if you don’t want to be in the thick of Sturgis or Rapid City. The I-90 drive is calm and beautiful for Rushmore and Badland sightseers without the worries of over crowded and potential danger of crime etc…. This hotel right off I-90 has a Yes Way gas station next to it that serves food, liquor and a Dollar Tree in easy walking distance for basic amenities, if not a Walmart also in walking distance. Was odd when I stayed there, they put me in a handicap room that was wheelchair accessible, but then I realized all rooms on the first floor were wheelchair accessible which ma

This hotel was conveniently located off I-90, the staff was friendly and made good restaurant recommendations. The room was clean, the beds were firm and the room had plenty of towels. One problem was that the light-switches actually turned on/off the TV, refrigerator and microwave not the lights. They really should be labeled or secured in the on position, fortunately I didn’t have anything in the refrigerator. The breakfast had a delicious Boston Cream donut, bagels, muffins, containers of apple juice, and the usual eggs, sausage and waffles. I’d definitely stay here again..

Very pleased with this hotel, all the staff was very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious. A Real hot breakfast, with bacon and eggs for hubby is a must, this hotel had this and more. Donna was our breakfast attendant when we stayed and was exceptional. Would stay here again, no problem. Room was next to elevator, and was surprised we never heard it. Great place to stay
