Quality Inn Savannah Midtown

Read the other reviews. It's the same story for me. I tried to extend my stay after 12, denied because it was too late. I asked if I could pay the early check in as to avoid lugging my bags back to the car, but "R" enforced a strict policy of no check ins til 3. The whole mess didn't sit right with me so I asked if there was someone else there that could go over the policy with me. She replied with "I am the manager" with a real bad attitude. I was cordial and polite. This lady took everything personal and shouted me out of the main lobby. I would 10 out of 10 NOT RECOMMEND this place and I am never staying there again. For the price point there's cleaner, with better trained staff. They have breakfast, but that's about it.

The location was very good for me. There were restaurants and stores very near. The neighborhood looked safe. The room and bath were better than expected--good for the price. A little wear and tear acceptable for the rate. The bed was comfortable, clean, and large. No noise. And, some guests were very nice. Parking was adequate and near the rooms. Breakfast was adequate; worth skipping but for coffee. The cafe was clean, and the customers were pleasant and accommodating. Desk staff and cleaning crew were friendly, as were cafe workers. The one big issue were the rugs: cleaning absolutely required. Walking on them made my bare feet filthy. Custer service on check in could have been better. House keeping could do a better job of cleaning the room, like wiping down high touched area's, cleaner wash rags and hand towels,. The bathtub soap holder look like mildew was on it. It didn't look clean. Door handle for the room needs to be replaced along with the microwave.

Have been visiting every year, and normally would go to Laquinta. After they became overpriced, I decided to try Quality inn, and I've been very happy with my choice. I will gladly recommend you all,and I will see you next year. Every year the rooms get cleaner and cleaner. You all are definitely trending up!

We spent 5 nights here. Very clean room, roomy, good flush toilet, good shower, bar soap. Towels were large for a low budget hotel. Comfortable bed, quiet air/heat. We were given fresh towels on the weekend but I am sure if we had asked they would give us some each day. It was a very quiet stay. Best of all a hot breakfast. Bacon, eggs and the usual cereal, waffle, coffee, juice and very good English muffins. Near restaurants and shops. We would go back if in the area.
