Customer Reviews
The Hotel seems to be in a good area for walking to the Riverfront and Historic District, we felt pretty safe doing so. The Hotel is pretty old and our King room was small but adequate. There wasn't any guides for the TV, paper or on the TV itself for a clue to what was on. The bathroom was clean and all the towels and bed linens were fresh. The bed was firm and not worn out. The room could use a new carpet or cleaning. The small fridge and microwave worked fine and was clean. The unexpected and unreasonable charges for parking ($25) per night took us by surprise. The Hotel has plenty of spaces for the rooms, however they want to sell parking spaces to the public that are not guest of the Hotel. After reading my booking confirmation document, I see in the fine print about the parking charg
Downtown motel. Didn’t feel safe. Obvious smell of urine throughout the property. Empty airplane bottles lying in the stairwells suggesting extensive loitering and general ignoring of the safety of the patrons. The room was barely adequate. The carpet was filthy, as if there has never been a carpet cleaning service come through. The walls were filthy. The staff working the front desk were wonderful people, super friendly, helpful, appreciative of us being there, and felt like genuinely good people. They were the bright light in an overall gloomy experience.
Room was pretty decent. The batteries in our remote were dead but they quickly replaced them. Our mini fridge didnt work, but I didnt complain about it because we didnt really need it. Good location, walkable to alot of great stuff including river st, surprisingly quiet, parking is tight. Pancakes were good. Amanda and Miss T were extremely friendly and helpful. I would probably stay here again.
Location could not be better. Parking is $20 per day but free breakfast for two people is a good trade off. Best value hotel for the area. Atmosphere is a bit city busy but not enough to keep you awake. Light sleepers may need earplugs. Room was amenity rich (cable tv, microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer), clean, with fresh towels. Sink didn’t really drain well but we communicated this with the hotel. Host Amanda was very helpful and cheerful. Made herself available to handle any issue that may have come up.
Excellent location! Room was clean and functional, Amanda at the front desk was quick to check us in and provided great recommendations for kids activities in the city. Overall great stay in this simple hotel. .The only downside was the pricey parking.
