Quality Inn Lockport - Niagara Falls Area

This Hotel is a dump, it is dilapidated and very outdated. My family stayed there and I went to a Hampton Inn down the road.|I had made a reservation for 2 nights but when I got there and saw it was a dump, I asked to cancel and the owner said they don’t allow cancellations. I contacted Expedia who booked the package for me and they were no help. The furniture and decor is absolutely horrible.

We stayed 4 nights. Upon booking the room, I made a special notation that we had two small dogs. We checked in, they charged the credit card. On night 3, I went to the desk at 8pm to ask for more towels and a roll of Toilet paper. I asked the gentleman at the desk why no one came to service the room and he apologized and said he would make sure it was serviced the next day. I politely told him no thank you. At that point it was unnecessary. On the last night, my husbands credit card was charged an additional $80. We inquired what the charge was and the manager said it was for the dogs. I told him that’s not right, we made it clear when the reservation was made we had two dogs. You can’t just keep charging. The property was a little run down but the staff works hard to make guests feel like a valued customer. The lamp outlets and charging plugs didn’t work, nor did the iron. The room was clean and free of odors. The breakfast falls a little short but was appreciated.

The dead tree thing is real from the guy who said it!!! I was just there last night and my bed was actually very comfortable probably because it was one of the better rooms with a king and a giant bathtub with jets. That being said - it's probably a room more for people doing the hibbity dibbity because on the headboard there looked to be what I can only describe as forcefully spit out "man batter" 27 times, and even the bottom of the TV stand dresser deal like a time or 2. My issue isn't with the people having funnnn like..a...lot... of...it. It's the housekeeping. Doesn't matter if it's gross - gotta clean it. It's not fun, but that's your job. I'm a cleaner, more privately than a hotel but I know it's gross to clean a toilet! And I don't get tips. Anyways, I was amused by the dead tree

I was unable to get there right away, so my gf checked in before me. Thankfully for the quality inn sake, the room had many atrocities. Comforters with stains on them, shampoo/conditioner bottles not filled, some goo resembling lotion or semen down the front of the dresser, mold in the fridge, many dead bugs in fluorescent light casing, the shower missing a grab rail and the noisiest shower exhaust fan. When I got there I was also appalled to learn the hotel had demanded a $250 cash only deposit which seemed sketchy that it was cash only. After staying in this hotel I should have been payed for my stay
