Quality Inn Idaho Falls

Had to change rooms because the door was frozen shut. Was offered a "heat gun" but didn't feel like having to use one every time I tried to get into the room. Then, I was charged $30 extra a night to stay in a room where I didn't have to use a "heat gun". I mean, I know it's a budget hotel, but really? Most of the staff was nice though.

I didn't get her name, but she was working the desk, Wed, Sept 24 at 4pm. She was very helpful in helping with our room. I know this is a lower end chain, but the room was very sub par. We had one extremely dim light. I gave night lights at home that put out more light. The receptionist found a lamp for our room. Beyond that there no kleenex, no desk chair, actually no chairs at all, and no waste basket. Our reservation was poolside, but we dated the street. There was lots of renovation going on. The TV soundtrack was off on every Bathroom door wouldn't fully close. This room was no where near ready to be rented.

Stayed here for a quick night while seeing an artist at the MACU Arena. The hotel staff was super sweet and helpful, and the room felt clean and modern. There were a couple of minor things, like a loose tile on the wall, but overall it was very tidy and comfortable.

Positive: Comfy beds, great location Negative: Dirty rooms and bed linens! Noisy ceiling if you’re on the bottom floor. We got locked out of our room because the unlock system froze over (in August)

This hotel is not the way the pictures show. The first thing we noticed is we had to go into a different hotel to check in and if we wanted to use the free breakfast. Then as we walked past the pool to get to our room, we saw that half the pool was a murky brown color. We opened the door to our room and immediately were smelled the strong scent of urine. The floors had dirt on them. We were on the main floor and could hear the people in the room above us the whole time. We went to take our showers after a long day of flying and the bathtub was “disgusting”. We couldn’t get any hot water. We stayed for four nights and housekeeping never came to our room. If you don’t want your toilet running all night, you have to jiggle the handle. I would strongly suggest paying a little more fo
