Quality Inn Greeneville - Tusculum

First the price was absolutely way too high for the value you receive. Yes, the rooms have been updated nicely however the beds and the metal frames, they are absolutely horrible! The beds are extremely hard with zero bounce. The metal frames the beds rest on flex with the most minor movement and causing what sounds like tin cans flexing under you. Expecting a good night sleep, you can forget it. I’m so great full we only needed to stay two days . The room appeared clean however the shower head had so much mold build up, I was absolutely disgusted. I’m afraid of what I didn’t see.|We had neighbors next door and could hear their whole conversation. While the hotel seemed fine at first, we were in day 3 before we thought about the fact that no one had picked up our trash, refreshed the towels or replaced the toilet paper. We asked for service that evening and returned to the hotel room and nothing had been done. I had to go down to the front desk for the second time for toilet paper and I asked for fresh towels at that time. Our trip kept us away from the room for 12-15 hours a day and we did not use our privacy sign. There was no mention of them not cleaning the rooms when we checked in. If every hotel in Greeneville was booked, I would consider staying there again, but that is the only way.

Handicapped accessible bathtub was too slick to stand safely and did not have a tub mat. The tub was also too high to be a handicapped accessible tub. When a request was made for a mat, the hotel responded that it did not have any mats. The shower heads did not function properly and had low pressure trickle only. The sink was stopped and would not drain. Skim milk at breakfast had soured. Orange Juice dispenser was the only one that worked. Pastries were almost frozen / too cold to eat. Television did not work. Hotel advised that they had to enter the room and adjust the TV from the rear for it to work. (?) There was no Do Not Disturb placard in the room. The mattress sat on a metal frame that creaked, popped and groaned upon movement. USB ports beside the bed were placed high on the wall

Honestly, this hotel was very nice! It was clean, quiet, and most of all comfortable. Both staff members were very welcoming and gave us welcoming cookies. Lastly, breakfast was decent and had general breakfast stuff eggs, sausage, coffee, waffle maker, juices, and even uncrustables.

There’s nothing good to say. Room dirty the bed sucked. Brick mattress and loud metal bed box anytime you move sounds like an oil can. The night desk was as friendly and as accommodating as a DMV worker. Over priced. Air con barely works the first night it was hot in the room but got in late and didn’t have the chance to turn it on for very long before bed. The second day unit was on all day and the room was 79 degrees and didn’t cool down till 4:00am. There’s no quality in that inn. Cheap, dirty, uncomfortable, oh the breakfast was disgusting. The coffee was OK the OJ or yellow water sucked.
