Pictures are worth a thousand words, right? Pending a response from owner about refunding our stay since leaving after just one night. It's the Wildcat 1 unit. Little/no transparency about the unit being so dilapidated. Nor the lack of advertised security. Won't bore you with the sad state of the pool area/bunching up pool liner. Or that we were told the unit shower would only have hot water for 1 to 2 minutes, which negated the reason for booking a unit with a private bathroom. Lots of excuses, little accountability. Yes - we were offered a two night voucher after repeatedly saying we would not return and that would not be acceptable based on our experience. Nevertheless, we received an email with a voucher that had to be used within 30 days. Please keep in mind this happened Halloween

What a diamond in the rough. After traveling nearly 4000 miles. I was exhausted and needed rest. I originally planned to stay at the Hard Rock hotel and casino up the road. |I wanted something different and more remote connected to nature and upon searching online I found Timberfell lodge.| I am so glad I did. My cabin was warm cozy clean and even had a fireplace and loft. It was exactly what I needed to unwind, relax and rejuvenate before continuing on my jorney. The bathhouse was impeccably clean and warm with wet and dry saunas and multiple showers. The staff was friendky and accommodating and even checked back on me after checking in to make sure i was settled in my cabin. I was very thankful for that because i had forgotten the door code and it was very cold. I will be back for

★☆☆☆☆ I would never recommend Timberfell Lodge in Greenville, TN. The room I stayed in was full of black mold, and the ceiling had visible damage. Even worse, bees were coming through holes in the wall where the structure had rotted. It was unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. No guest should have to deal with conditions like this. Response to Owner Claims: It’s absolutely laughable that you’d claim I “snuck into” the room when I have a receipt proving I paid for my stay. What’s even more telling is that I had to sit on the porch while your own staff came to spray bee killer and shove foam into the wall, confirming that you already knew about the bee infestation and mold issue before renting the room. My partner and I had the best time at Timberfell for my 40th birthday. We stayed in the brand-new Delta Dawn cabin and were the very first guests, so we got to christen it. The cabin was modern, comfortable, and had amazing views that made the whole trip feel special. The community of residents was incredible. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and we even got invited to some pre-game parties within the community, which made us feel right at home. There were a few construction areas around the property, but no active work was happening while we were there, so it didn’t interfere with our comfort. We spent a lot of time at the Tavern, which has a great atmosphere and a firepit outside that was perfect for evenings. The lower-level basement is also worth checking out if that’s your thing.

Amazing place. Beautiful secluded setting. Warm friendly staff and wonderful guests from all over. I have been here in July two summers in a a row now. Can't wait till next year! Beautiful huge pool, fun friendly locals as well as guys from far away. The place is continuously improving. So many great additions in just the last year! Timberfell is an antidote to city living, a pleasure play-land, a welcome invitation to enjoy doing nothing, and a place to create real friendships.
