Overall, this is a very good hotel for both of the location and budget. People need to understand this is a budget hotel, so don't expect luxury services at a budget price. If you have issues with a shower being scolding hot, you need to turn the dial. Their shower works temperature by how much you turn the dial. If you didn't get to the amenity you're looking for, stay elsewhere. They have a really good breakfast considering the fact it's free, with unlimited return trips from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Don't go down there 5 minutes before 10:00 a.m. and complain there's nothing left, because apparently that was a common theme. This is an magnificent hotel Mrs.Handan and Mrs.Monique were great and the breakfast was amazing as well as the breakfast person. The biscuits, the sausage, the belgian waffles, the tater tots, the variety of it all is just amazing. The rooms are very spacious and not to mention they are currently renovating! I recommend this property, please visit. Great staff!

This stay was affordable and convenient for me. This is one of those you get what you pay for. The service was ok, the staff just are very lowly energized! I didn’t have breakfast while I was there. I like the views of the Marina and nature altogether. The check in was smooth, they accommodated my double booking to make my stay more comfortable. I stayed in rm 129 the thing I didn’t like is the latch/door lock is broken. I wasn’t comfortable with that, I had to push the wardrobe in front of the door. There was a lot of dirt and debris on the floors. The refrigerator didn’t work. I had to get ice but there were gnats inside the machine. A keycard is required for entry so that’s good security. The pool is shared with the apartments next door. Not too bad though, bc I had the pool to myself o

I have stayed at this hotel several times over past few years as my grandkids live right down the road. I loved the old floors and design, but the last 2 visits have been awful. Last visit they had to move us to a new room because when we moved bed pillow there was a bunch of bugs! Then this visit was the worse. I know rooms are cheap right now, it wasn't cost, it was convenience. Smell of weed was strong down hallways, rooms were still being cleaned in my hall from 6pm to 11pm, towels had holes in them, shower had hair still on wall. Just sad for a historic hotel to fail so badly. also, no decor. Tables and walls lack flowers and pictures.

Positive: What I like best is the few staff members trying to make things right. We were allowed to check in early Negative: Yes, I did bot like that the pool was being worked on, it should have been specified before booking. We used the pool the first day, the continental breakfast was the worst. Our tv didn?t work, and our room wasn?t tended too when asked.
