Quality Inn Edmund Pettus Bridge area

Honestly, not much to ride home about it. It’s a quality Inn in a not so great part of town. There is no elevator here to the different floors so if you’re swinging by with a lot of luggage, be prepared to carry it upstairs the service at the front desk was decent. The room was clean, but there were some paint chipping off the walls. A lot of lineman were staying when I was here and the parking lot was really small so I had to park in a adjacent parking lot and a walk across the street. Food is not really close by other than fast food down the strip, you cannot walk around to other places.

First of all, if approaching from the west, you must drive about 1mile down the road and back to enter the property. Lody area was nice, and receptionist was friendly. The room was humid, smelled, and was not very clean. It was noisy and the microwave didn't work properly. The one time I ventured out I was overcome by the strong smell of Marijuana. Nothing at the breakfast looked fresh or appealing. The coffee however was good. I was traveling by myself so I stayed but my wife would not have. .

This was a 1 out of 5!!! Man all the hotels here are extremely outdated!! You have no options 1) The smell of pot outside and inside the hotel was overwhelming. 2) The crawling bugs in the bathtub when we arrived. 3) The pubic hairs in the bed. 4) The brown smudges on the folded towels. 5) The mold on the ceiling in our room. 6) The appliance that was removed from the wall, which left exposed holes in the wall in our room. 7) The mound of dirt and dust filth in the corners of our room. 8) The food crumbs left on the chair in our room. 9) The AC unit being held up and in place by a piece of wood in our room. 10) The stains on the toilet seat in our room.11) Water pool in tub during shower, slow drain 12) Outdate unit 13) paint peeling from walls I couldn't wait to leave. Staffing was great. The rooms are not being cleaned to satisfaction looks like housekeeping doing a very quick job with cleaning. I stayed here a year or so ago and I had no complaints this time you can tell it’s not being kept up

Positive: "" Negative: Breakfast not good. Was okay but not as nice as the ratings led us to believe. Privately owned, which is not as nice as when corporate, a little run down, but not bad. Comfortable bed.
