Budget Inn Selma

This Place is actually called the Luxury Inn now off hwy 80. We were happy to get a room on the first floor. Everything was comfortable but the place is not getting enough business so the room smelled stale at first. It quickly got its freshness on after the air had been on about 20 min. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, looked updated. The owners were helpful when we saw them. The entry door stays locked. When we turned in the key, no one came after I rang the bell. Our room 104 needed weather stripping around the door and the window needed a sound dampening shade. Get those and it will be as comfortable as any $250/night room! No breakfast but McDonald's and Burger King are close by. If you make your own, coffee pot, microwave and fridge are available. The pool was covered at that t

Whatever you do not stay at this hotel.  Didn't feel safe when we pulled up. But decided to stay since we had prepaid.  The room had roaches no iron or ironing board. Had to go to separate building to ask for an iron and mini ironing board that you sit on a table. The room smelled. The pool was not fit for my dog to swim. This is the hotel prostitutes take their johns. The owner was one of the rudest men I have ever met.   Had to book another hotel down the street. Wouldn't stay there if they paid me.

If I could actually rate this place correctly, it would be -3. The rate on line states $56 but actually it was $70 a night. Upon entering the room, it is very dark. The lights are very dimmed with outdated light shades. The bed sheets were dirty on both beds. They had food crumbs on them from the previous guests. There were also mouse dropping on the floor in between the beds. The bathroom appeared to not have been cleaned for quite some time. Soap scrums were over all the shower walls. The little vanity area for the sink was dirty as well. The mirrors were broken around the edges. The microwave was filthy. It had burnt food on the glass. The outside of the microwave was sticky and had food items smeared on the side. There were no amenities. No towels in the room at all. No hand soap.

The room was barely put together. Lots of lightswitches that do nothing and holes where things used to be. The shower head might as well have been an open spigot. It was dirty and old and some dude was yelling for like an hour at 2am out in the parking lot. Classic motel, couldn't be happier.

We stayed on April 20 2020 we have bedbug bites all over us. There was a wet dirty white rag hanging up for us to use, there was dirty smelly towels for us to use, the blankets and bedding was nasty filthy bloody, it reeked of all kinds of odor, there was chewing gum stuck to one of the pictures on the wall, there was a empty beer cans under the coffee table. The mattress was stained tremendously with bodily fluids the whole place was disgusting. This place needs to be condemned , Health department definitely needs to go out infestation with bedbugs warning do not go there you would be better off sleeping on the side of the road
