Hampton Inn Selma

I had a nice stay for one night here and I enjoyed by time, but I really enjoyed was the service I received from the from the morning front desk agent Vanessa! She was very helpful and nice when I was trying to use the printer. She saw me having some problems and offered to print them at the front desk! This was very nice to see because I’ve had some encounters at other properties where the agents were not as willing to help. Thank you so much Vanessa for being so nice and helpful and made my morning easier!

Was NOT a value.Price was inflated too high, almost double,just because it was the Jubilee Festival in Selma. Room was comfortable not great. Staff very friendly & helpful. Elevator got stuck twice. Breakfast served hot & menu fair. I stayed there because the location to the events was very good.

Positive: The friendly staff Negative: Did not like seeing guys smoking at front of hotel in parking lot. And there was garbage all around the entrance and the garbage bin was overflowing. I thought my room would look like outside but it wasn’t it was really cleqn

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn - Selma! The team working was extremely kind and the hotel was so clean and felt comforting as soon as you walk through the door. Shoutout to Deedee at check in who always greeted us on the way in and told us to have a great day on the way out. Also a big thank you to Ms. Donna who did a wonderful job organizing the breakfast, all the food was filled, the space was clean and the food was great! Thank you all! 💕

We’ve been coming to this Hampton Inn since December of 2018. This year the hotel looks refreshed because of the remodeling. Walking into the dining area today things look so pristine. The area is clean and welcoming which is a pet peeve of mine. I appreciate the work Donna puts in to ensure we have choices for breakfast. She’s courteous. The front desk staff is courteous and welcoming also. This is the place for our local visit, our home away from home. Thanks everyone.
