Holiday Inn Express & Suites Selma by IHG

We had an excellent stay here. Rooms are spotless and the staff is fantastic. Sherrel goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of have the best stay. The entire staff was so kind….Shanika had a warm breakfast and smile every morning to greet you and the front desk was so kind as well….even recommending the top barbecue place in the area….shout out to Hancocks, it was amazing! We will be back here for sure. 10/10!!!

I had to stop in Selma AL because I was out of drive time. Good thing I did. Smooth check in. Usually all the Holiday Inn Expresses “sleep” about the same which is always comfortable and when you wake up for breakfast, you know what to expect. Not here‼️ The orange juice tastes the freshest I’ve had in a while, but it was the food that set them apart. Same food, better appearance better taste. Cooked RIGHT. Fresh‼️ Thank You Selma AL for caring a little more than the rest. Shout out to Shanika on the breakfast bar today‼️

When working on the road it’s important to have good breakfast options. I was really impressed with how clean the breakfast area is and how well made the selections were. The hot breakfast was cooked- not just assembled with hot water. There is a difference and it was appreciated. The front desk staff were also friendly, polite, and helpful. A great stay.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Kelser at the front desk answered all our questions about places to eat, etc. We had two rooms. One room had a broken light switch cover in the bathroom. Part of the cover was missing leaving a hole large enough to stick your finger in. Not a problem for an adult but could be bad for a young child. The 2nd room was missing a shower curtain. When reported to the front desk, they gave us one to hang. The breakfast was great. Eggs, meat, potatoes. sausage gravy, biscuits, waffles...... The kitchen manager, Nye, was most helpful. This hotel is a good option in Selma. The staff was pleasant, our room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast was very good. The room appeared to be recently updated with new furniture, carpet and paint. The bathroom was slightly more worn than the rest of the room, but still OK. We would stay there again.
