Purgatory Snowcat Adventures

Absolutely unreal day out there! Will, Rowan, and Nick delivered nonstop blower powder from first lap to last. Every line was deep, untouched, and perfectly spaced, and they kept the stoke high all day while making us feel totally dialed and safe in the backcountry. The terrain they took us to was next level and exactly what you dream about when you book a cat trip. Easily one of the best ski days of my life. Could not have asked for a better crew or better zones. Already counting down the days until I can get back out with you guys again. Highly recommend to anyone chasing real powder.

This was my first time cat skiing and now I completely understand the hype! Nothing beats skiing pow in the trees all day long... The guides were fantastic and communicated clearly making sure the group felt comfortable moving through the terrain we were in. Absolutely amazing day with a fantastic crew.

What an experience! Now I finally understand the hype and why Purgatory Snowcat Adventures is the largest operation in CO and they live up to it for sure! From the organization of the trips and the director’s attention to detail when booking and exchanging all the needed information, I knew we would be in good hands. Our group had a wide range of experience from beginner to pro and the snowcat staff was so accommodating and supportive. Every single one of us has a great time and got to experience Purgatory like no other. We already have our next trip booked and can’t wait to see what amazing things are in store for next time. Great job to the team and the leaders behind it all. Thanks for having us!

Would rate 6 stars if I could. From the premise meeting to the very end, the guides were exceptional. They did a phenomenal job explaining our runs and ensuring everyone in our group was safe but also having fun. On top of that, the lunch and all and all service were top tier! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to go on a bit of an adventure outside of your typical ski resort!

From my initial interaction with Becky, to Haley taking great care of us when we arrived on ski day, the team and the experience at Purgatory Snowcat Adventures is second to none! We had very light snow at Purgatory resort, yet Grady (lead guide) and Travis found us amazing stashes up high in the backcountry! Our cat driver (and guide) "Friday" was incredible and his cohort Andy always had the cat exactly where it was supposed to be. If you are hesitating...Don't. This team and their knowledge of local terrain and conditions are amazing. My eclectic mix of new friends are definitely going to be back!
