Leland House Suites of Durango

A great little hotel right in the middle of Durango. Stayed at the Leland for two nights and loved it. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room code is sent via text shortly before arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and has some nice touches including some free drink tokens, fresh fruit and a note from the manager. This is a historic building and the bathroom was compact but not uncomfortable. The shower is cozy but plenty of space to move around and get clean. Parking is right outside in a private lot and very convenient. Just two block walk to the train.

We had a lovely stay. The location was perfect and walkable to everything. The bed and the pull-out sofas were very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay. Very clean and updated. Loved the gas fireplace and cozy couch and throw blanket. It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband. Great location. We were able to walk to dinner and they gave us two complimentary drinks at Lola’s House! He food was amazing. We will be back.

This most recent Leland House stay has been our third or fourth, and Leland House continues to be our #1 suite hotel in Durango. The downtown location can’t be beat. The suite arrangement gives us a bit of space. The bed, pillows, furnishings, etc. are lovely, and having a coffee pot and coffee is terrific! Dominque and the staff are gracious, and communication is immediate and always helpful. Really can’t say enough…Leland House is our Durango go-to place!

I usually do not write reviews, but felt compelled after my stay at the Leland House. This hotel is extremely accommodating. They have the perfect size room or suite to meet your needs. The furnishings were modern with an old world vibe. The room was immaculate with high end products. Location was great, one block from downtown. Communication was immediate with hosts. Dominic and Alex are people pleasing hosts! Best property on our two week vacation in Colorado.
