nice hiking on portrero seco road but about 1.5 miles in theres a no trespassing fence and just before portrero seco campground theyve apparently closed the road for all public access (even walking). theres a new no trespassing sign and fence up as of May 2025. i dont know if portrero seco campground is even open to the public anymore.
