Casa Ojai Inn | Downtown Ojai Hotel

Great experience at Casa Ojai Inn! I’ve actually been staying here for about 20 years, and I really appreciate the new manager, Larry. I will say that some rooms tend to be a bit darker since one side of the building has very small windows, and I’m not a fan of the corner rooms that face a wall. The plumbing is older and can be a little finicky, and the AC/heater units are definitely on the louder, older side. That said, the overall value for the price is still great compared to other places in Ojai. The pool and spa are super nice and relaxing, and I love that they offer bikes for rent—Ojai is such a perfect place to bike around. I’d recommend it and will definitely come again.

I ran the Ventura marathon which started about 2 miles from the location of the hotel. It’s sort of at the end of the Main Street in ojai so if you’re trying to do some pottery courses or see the orange groves, it’s perfect. Walking distance from some wonderful food at dutchess; the staff was attentive and the rooms are well sized. I would highly recommend and we will be staying there again next spring for the marathon.

If you want substandard accomodations with five star prices, this place has it. there is nothing good to say about it. It is somewhat rundown and shabby. In our room, neither the toilet barely worked and the shower not at all. Management did not respond to our concerns. We even filled out a form during and again at the end of our stay-no response, no accomodation. An email I sent after was also ignored. All i all, not a place we would recommend or consider again.

This is a great little spot. Nothing fancy as it looks like a motel but comfortable and clean. We love the pool and jacuzzi. Julia at the front desk is nothing more than a shining star. Great attitude with a welcoming smile. Starts the vacation off perfectly. We'll be back!

A cozy little getaway from the city. The room was a little small to be considered a full suite, but very comfortable and adequate. The staff was very helpful and my daughter hopes to return for a writer’s rich beat one day. It was the best place we could be during a rainy Christmas.
