My last stay here was enough to convince me that the hostel way was the best way to solo travel, 16yrs later at 64 yrs old, I'm more convinced then ever! Everyone here, staff as well as the guests, have truly helped to make this paradise! Huge shout out to Khyle for the awesome Falls Hike, no old woman left behind, lol!! Shelby and Jake answered any questions I came up with and were excellent roommates as well💛I will stay here every vist to Oahu!!
This was my first time ever staying in a hostel, and it was honestly amazing. The whole process was super easy — from checking in to getting there, everything was clear and simple to manage. I literally met the coolest guys in my room, and now we’re all running a marathon together in February, which is wild in the best way. I would 100% stay here again. They offer so many free things, plus group tours, discounts, and activities for people staying there. The vibe and energy were great, the place was clean, and everything just felt right. Highly recommend
They put me in a room on the 4th floor with no elevator, even though the hostel was empty during the off-season. The room was a decent size, but two people lived there, neither of them tourists. One of them was a tall, fat guy who never left the hostel; he just hung out outside his room smoking. I didn't see him with cigarettes or anything, but I did see his glass pipe. I'm not sure what he smoked, but he was definitely high all day, talking to himself, totally out of it. He left his room three times a night. Honestly, I felt a bit scared. The next day, I asked to change rooms and explained what was happening, but they didn't care. They already knew about him. They moved me, hoping I wouldn't bother them anymore. Honestly, don't go there; it's full of homeless people and drug addicts. I wa
About an hour by the city bus to the hostel from the airport. Easy to walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.
If you like to watch guys walking around the stairs in their underwear. Then this is your place. Water isn’t hot, the cleaning people just come in shirtless to clean. Beds aren’t really comfortable. And they are alway dirt dishes in the sinks. It was ok the first night, but being here for multiple. You tend to see why it’s so cheap. Go at your discretion. Like why there’s a guy walking around the Hostel? I have no idea but I’m extremely uncomfortable. Cheers
