Pointe Plaza Hotel

Avoid at all costs. I am writing this review after staying at this hotel with my wife, and I feel a responsibility to warn future guests. This hotel is extremely unsanitary. We experienced serious hygiene issues, including cockroaches in the room, with photos to prove it, which we will attach to this review. This is not a minor inconvenience but a clear health and safety issue that makes the room unfit for guests. When we reported these problems, the situation only got worse. Two reception staff members (one woman and one man) were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional when we raised legitimate concerns about hygiene. We booked a twin suite that was advertised as having separate bedroom, living room with sofa, cable TV with premium channels and kitchenette. The kitchenette led to the bedroom. There was no separate living room, no sofa, no kitchenware and a TV that only had over the air local channels, one of which had no sound. Stations came with static. There was a cable feed into the TV but no signal. We were promised complimentary breakfast for 2 mornings, only to find out,  via a sign in the hotel elevator, that breakfast is only served Sunday-Thursday, and we were booked for an entire weekend from Friday to Sunday.  The room was clean and staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. A wonderful place. So clean and neat and Peaceful. Everyone was more than helpful and friendly. Everyone at the frost desk was extremely nice and helpful. If I would ask for anything they were quick and willing to accommodate. I would definitely come again and I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a hotel stay. I actually didn’t want to leave. Thanks for everything!!

Pointe Plaza Hotel is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel is well maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The location is very convenient, especially for anyone visiting the area, and the overall atmosphere is calm and pleasant. A great choice for both short and long stays, and a hotel I would happily recommend.

This was our second time there and almost all was like a few years ago. Although it is an old hotel and far from city center it is cheap and you have bus just around the corner and Subway station 10 minutes from hotel. The woman who did us the check in around 9pm and the girl from the check out were very friendly.And they spoke Spanish which is helpful. Also the guy from the evening before 10 pm. Very smiley all the time. They get you a taxi for the airport and you have it in 5 minutes. We also liked that you can leave your luggage after check out so you can explore the city for the last time. We like that you have kitchen in the room so you can prepare easy meals or enjoy the breakfast there. There are 2 supermarkets close to the hotel so you can buy a few things if you need them. P
