Point View Resort

I didn't stay In a room here. I went there to go fishing. We caught a lot of fish! I go here quite often to fish. The owners are extremely friendly and happy to help with anything you need. No need to bring minnows, they have them on site. I have talked to many who have stayed there and every one says the rooms are very clean.

Booked at the last minute for a one night stay in November. The cabin was right on the water and spotless. It was fully equipped for cooking. The host was super friendly. As it was off season, there were very few other guests so it was quiet. A morning walk revealed a fishing dock, play ground and multiple places to sit and drink coffee. Every cabin appeared to have a deck with many overlooking the lake.

1st time staying here but not in the area so I knew what to expect. Not much cell service but the WiFi worked good for me. Not a lot of food options around without doing some driving but rooms are fully equipped to cook and have plenty of grills. The rooms are also nicely kept for an older establishment. Parking is a little rough coming in the 1st time if you have a boat and not sure what to do and don’t want to block anyone in. Trailer gets dropped and they take your boat down to the ramp with a tractor to launch your boat then trailer is parked somewhere out of the way until you are ready to leave no problem. Now mistakes happen I get it we all make them. but I was checking my receipt the next day after leaving and realized I had been charged to much for boat launch and slip fees so cont

A wonderful locally owned place that’s perfect for families and anybody really who loves the lake and wants to stay away from the loud tourist traps! More importantly the beds, bedding and pillow were all super comfy - and the owners were so gracious and helpful. So glad we were able to book them in for the holiday weekend. Also the room setup was super cozy, and kitchen had everything you needed to cook after a long day of swimming!

My BF and I stayed here the Sunday and Monday before Memorial Day weekend and we were pleasantly surprised with pretty much everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. We could have brought our boat and they would have put it in and out. We didn't because the weather forecast was iffy. The rooms were reasonably priced. Clean. A bit cramped but it was just the two of us and we spent a lot of time outside so that was fine. We used the free provided kayaks. Very fun! My favorite thing was definitely the fishing dock!! I know I am not a professional avid angler. So the low hanging fruit is sitting there with my worm and bobber and pulling sunfish after bluegill time after time was marvelous!!
