Niangua Hills Resort

Just got back from 6 days at Niangua Hills Resort and we couldn't say enough great things about it! It was the perfect place to host our group of 36 for a family reunion. We couldn't beat being right on the lake, in a quiet and calm spot, where kids could run around, swim and fish with ease. And we were close enough to take the boats out and enjoy the action of the open lake, to tube, cliff jump or just cruise around. We all had our own private space to retreat when needed but there were plenty of places to gather as a large group. Cabins were updated, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Grounds were well kept. We had a BALL! Thank you for a great time!

This is our second year staying at Niangua hills resort. Location is excellent. Dock, playground and pool is wonderful for family. This year we stayed in cabin 8. It is cute and spacious. Window units in the bedrooms I think are necessary as the AC unit in the living room does not cool the other bedrooms. We even brought one portable AC unit for our toddler but the other 2 bedrooms were hot and you have to sleep with bedroom doors open.

Amazing!! After a nightmare of other places that cancelled our reservations I found the resort and reached out. Amanda saved our family vacation and my sons 13th birthday! We were able to book the Old Critterden House. Absolutely wonderful! The bunk bed room room was perfect for kids with 2 sets of bunks beds. All the beds and bedding were soo comfortable! Kitchen was perfect for a large group and it was well stocked up with anything you could possibly need. There is also a charcoal grill and fire pit! Beautiful deck to sit on and watch the sunrise. The resort is amazing! Awesome lake view and cove . It’s so serene and beautiful. If you’re not a lake person the swimming pool is fantastic! I stayed in cabin#1 "singing hills". This place is fantastic with just the right blend of nostalgia and modern amenities. My cabin was neat as a pin, everything was sparkling clean. The renovation looks like it is brand new. I recommend this place for anyone who remembers family vacations to the lake in the days when it was all little family owned resorts.

Amazing place, well kept, stunning views. Very clean rooms, and cute little details from the cleaning person, which we appreciated. So many amenities right on sight, which made everything accommodating . The resort is so close to several attractions, bridal cave is a must see, like 5 minutes from the resort. We had the best weekend at Niangua Hills. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
