Customer Reviews
We booked it for its charm and we definitely got charm with the four poster beds. The room also had a nice size refrigerator, plenty big to keep drinks and leftovers cold and a very large TV. We never needed to connect to the Wi-Fi but it was available and free. The staff was gracious and in the evenings after 7:45 they put out big hot fresh gooey cookies. There was no ice machine, but if you needed ice, ask for it and water at the desk; they also had fresh coffee all day. They do offer valet parking and to be honest we probably should’ve done that instead of parking in the garage next to the hotel because we found out if we left the parking garage they would charge us again but with valet, you could come and go and the valet attendants were always very nice. We couldn’t have asked for a b
This hotel is old-school Savannah. It is over 120 years old and because of that you will see some much-needed sprucing up in some of it's beautifully-furnished rooms. However, this is almost part of it's charm. The lobby is beautiful and has live piano music with wine and cheese provided for it's guests weekday afternoons. The location absolutely is definitely it's big draw as you are literally steps from Reynolds Square and right next door to a Savannah institution, The Olde Pink House. Definitely get the BLT salad!
Great place to stay near the river and Main Street where all of the shops are. Rooms are large and very comfy. The heating was very loud and kept me up. I would definitely take some ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper like me. It the bed was very comfortable. The staff were great. I enjoyed the cheese trays and live music in the lobby. Also loved the location beside The Olde Pink House. Everything was within walking distance.
Beautiful well decorated place. Lovely to have water and coffee available. Very nice to have wine and cheese platters HOWEVER, we arrived at 6:35, checked in 6:38 and we were unable to get the wine or cheese. It was literally being packed away as we were checking in. It was so disappointing that they could not salvage a couple of glasses for us. Nice to be able to walk to the river and purchase our drinks.
Location could not have been better!!! Within walking distance to most everything we had planned to do. Such a beautiful building and lobby.. Room in 5th floor was perfect. Tub could use a little work on caulk and maybe an updated white toilet seat😁 Each night they hosted a wine and cheese happy hour which was well attended. Southern charm exudes! Right next door to the historic Pink House.
