Customer Reviews
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. It’s an older, character-filled building in a very safe location. Our room (M3101) was incredible super spacious with high ceilings, a great window with a beautiful view of Dupont Circle. It was basically a full suite, even equipped with a washing machine. Everything was spotless and very well maintained.🤩 Just the elevator was a bit unusual, but honestly that made the experience even more interesting and fun for us.😅 The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived.🫠The reception team and everyone we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Overall, one of the nicest hotel stays I’ve had. Highly recommend!✨🇺🇸
It was a great hotel. Overall the room is fully equipped. On our last day there was a fire and we need to evacuate.
I wasn’t really thrilled with my accommodations. My room was very run down and dingy, falling apart. I wasn’t confident the space was clean. The mattress was uncomfortable and dirty and didn’t have much of protection from anything. The furniture was dirty and stained. The floor was literally coming apart. The washing machine in the room didn’t work and kept giving an error message. The only positive was the location.
Placemakr is incredibly located right on DuPont Circle, with spacious apartments and a warm welcome from the superintendents at the front desk. However, much of the rest leaves more promise than fulfillment.||For a fresh feeling building, room furnishings are in remarkably poor condition. Poor water pressure, grimy shower, furniture that is worn out and/our nicked, and a very limited selection of tv channels are all notable. Outside noise is extremely pronounced and windows do not fit casings and are highly drafty. ||The bed is comfortable, but I found it shocking that there was no room cleaning offered at all during my 7 night stay (to request one costs an unfathomable $119!). I would make do on my own, but as there are no spare bin bags or way to clean one’s own toilet, it’s disappointin
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, and that's the most comfortable semi-extended stay you can get. It feels like an apartment with all the perks of a hotel service. Tons of storage in your room. You can cook here. You have your own dishwasher and a clothes washer! My favorite part was how absolutely quiet the fridge and AC were. I rarely can sleep without earplugs in a hotel, and here i did. Definitely would recommend and would stay here again. Clean, comfortable, modern, quiet, and you have everything you might need.
