Pirate's Cove Resort

The room had no towels , toilet paper, soap or shampoo, one bed was missing sheets. The facility had many permenet guests and employees lived in many rooms.The wifi was ok. Guest services did bring two towels and suggested we go down to lobby to get the rest cups , towels, and soap shampoo.The bar and grill next door was great. Would not recommend as there were multiple guests in the lobby for the same issues we had.

This is such an inviting and quaint place. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. Staff was helpful and friendly. It is so conveniently located to all the fun things to do that you can walk. Not to mention you are right across from the ocean!! 10/10 recommend!!!

I should have known better. The room wasn’t clean. The bed wasn’t comfortable. People running up and down the steps all night and yelling outside. It’s just a sleazy roadside motel. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

We came on a Sunday night as a walk in. Pros: -fairly inexpensive and only $35 pet fee -great location -easy access to and discounted food at the restaurant next door -AC works great -Water was nice and hot in the shower -Cable TV Cons: -Uncomfortable beds and pillows -Smells - especially right outside - and people smoking weed -Outdated rooms -Staff tried to charge me 75 dollars more than what was listed on their website - until we said something. There is also a sign that says 89 dollars out front and we paid 99 plus tax/fees. Not sure why. Final thoughts: I’ve definitely stayed at worse places and this is a good option if you need a cheap hotel with a low pet fee. Although, I would not stay here again and will gladly pay an extra 100 to stay somewhere else.
