Pines Motel

This motel is ideal for individuals who value privacy and a discreet environment. If you are seeking a quiet, private, and unobtrusive place, this would be an excellent choice. The water is consistently hot, and you can expect not to be disturbed as long as you maintain a respectful demeanor.

My wife and I stayed here once in the fall a couple years ago. The room turned out to be absolutely filthy. It had a hot tub that was cold and could not be adjusted to work. The water had an oily sheen floating on the top. The water bed was also cold and did not warm up. There was a portable space heater in the room because the heating system didn't work. We stayed for 4 hours and when the office couldn't get anything to work we left. Although the office felt the water bed was warm and there was no oil in the hot/cold tub, though they would not come to the room with us. I used a hand towel to wipe around the edge of the tub at the water level and it removed a black goo off the sides of the tub. ||||Do yourself a favor. Drive to another motel you'll end up happier and healthier.||

Horrible. Called 2 times was told one price and while standing in front of the place got told the 90$ rooms were sold out. The woman literally lied. Absolutely one of the worst people to have working a hotel. Never have i seen a worse place. It's the wife. A Horrible worker.

The people who own it are so nice and kind. The rooms are all slightly different ( some might have a table others won't, some have a small fridge others have a bigger fridge and every TV is a different size) but great for the price you pay.

I didn't know this place was still open! It's definitely an unusual experience, I wouldn't recommend it at all for children or families, but more just for adults (18+) & couples only! To be fair, I haven't stayed here in several years, but did visit sometime around the early 2000's with a former boyfriend & I'll give an honest review, as I always do. The rooms are unique & themed. For example, they have one with a hanging bed, another that's space themed, I think there may also be a Cleopatra room, or something similar & jungle room, + many others. You used to be allowed to view photos in a book of each room in the office, prior to paying for your key. Choice obviously depends upon availability.
