Phoenix Hotel Brooklyn Sunset Park

Positive: I only like the room cleaning. Other than that, it doesn?t make any sense for this kind of hotel to not parking lot and they mention it when you?re booking but you get there you can?t find a parking spot. Negative: Another thing, there is no microwave in the room I needed one to warm up my food I couldn?t find any.

I don’t understand the bad reviews for this place. People are crazy haha I chanced it finally because on some pics it looks like they have tubs in rooms not just stand up shower so even though it wasn’t specified which kind they have in city view rooms I went for it after being hesitant bc of reviews for so long. It’s a basic little hotel not some motel. Bathroom was very clean and updated from pics I seen online. Looked nice as well. U can take an actual bathtub too which is amazing. You get city view from cons down bk through downtown city. And in bed u face some area thats completely unobstructed view of nothing so you can keep your shades open all night if u want. This is for sure a 2-3 night type of place and also the front desk people are so sweet and attentive and whatever you need

To start, before even arriving, the hotel cancelled our original reservation because they tried to take payment upfront even though we had selected the “pay at property” option. It felt like they knew we were already committed, due to this property being named on our visa, so we ended up having to rebook at a price £300 more than what was originally agreed, for a new reservation. May I add that this payment that they tried taking out, was not disclosed to us that this was going to happen and / or happened and our original reservation was cancelled immediately. This complaint has been made to booking.com as well. When we arrived, things got even worse. The front desk staff claimed they couldn’t find our reservation, despite the fact they’d been messaging us through the booking app earlier t

This was a standard 3-star stay. The location is the strongest feature (4 stars), making it very easy to navigate the Sunset Park area. Both the rooms and the service were exactly what you’d expect—consistent, clean, and functional. It’s a practical, no-frills choice for the neighborhood.

My husband and I traveled to Brooklyn to visit my son and family. The hotel we usually stay at is under renovations. So we picked Phoenix Hotel for cost and proximity to my son. ||The best I can say, room was clean. The bathroom had been upgraded. There was no room in the room. the Queen and 2 small night stands took up the room. There was a desk, but you had to sit on the bed to use it.||There were no amenities. No coffee in the room. No blow dryer. The TV remote didn't work. Breakfast was minimal. No kleenex. No screens on the windows (there were flies in the room).||I was able to register early (about noon after asking the attendant to hold our bags. In the room next to us, they must have had kids. Their TV was quite loud in the hall but the good news, we didn't hear anything in our roo
