Periwinkle Inn

Absolutely love this hotel. The rooms were clean with plenty of space. It has an outside balcony. The pools is heated and has a great view but most importantly all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone from the front desk, to the maid, and the maintenance guy was outstanding. They all went above and beyond. I love that the hotel is literally across the street from the ocean and in walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend Periwinkle, this is for sure my go to hotel when I visit Cape May

Terrible experience. Property is shabby and rundown. Not close to being a luxury experience their website states. This was more inline with a Motel 6. I am not sure who wrote these reviews but so inaccurate. |My room was musty dark and worn. It was supposed to be ocean view but it was of oil and parking lot. I spent as little time as possible in it during my one night stay. If this had not been prepaid I would have changed hotels. |I am not sure what room has the bathroom pictured but mine had plastic paneling wrapping the room and a removable tile ceiling. The bathroom smelled as if someone had been sick in it. It was disgusting. ||I can not reiterate how horrible of an experience this was.

Our short and sweet trip to Cape May was nothing short of perfect. The Periwinkle rooms are clean, the staff is super friendly, and location is perfect. Just far enough away from the nightlife, yet every single place is walkable. We just love it here and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This place is great: the location is just steps from the beach, and restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance. The room is decently appointed and in good order, the balcony was comfortable and looked out on the well-maintained pool and recreational area (corn hole and shuffleboard), lots of lounge chairs for dining. Staff were very friendly.

This is a nice hotel :clean, balconies,toilet and shower separate from bathroom sink , fridge and coffee maker.There is a good sized pool and baby pool and a few games like ladder ball and corn hole for guests.And the staff is friendly and helpful. It s about a mile walk to shopping and dining but the beach is steps away and the hotel is more reasonably priced than others.
