Pemigewasset Base Camp

Great little spot. Recently occupied by Cisco brewers, so the food drink are pretty solid. They also have live music fairly regularly at the end of the day, especially on busier days, and it can get a little crowded. No wait staff, there's a bar and food is ordered at a separate window.

Good food choices and good beer. Lodge is a tent structure. Definitely needs to be upgraded to something permanent. Has moisture issues, structure doesn't "breath". Can be like a bathroom after too hot of shower. Very humid inside when outside air is very cold.

Awesome paninis, waffles and even quinoa bowls. Not too crowded. They bring your food out to where you're sitting but you do order inside. They have an actual outdoor covered dining area that is not sealed in with flaps like so many other places have. Outdoor seating was comfortable and covered with adequate air flow. There were also some seats out in the sun.

Really cool atmosphere. Might want to remind bartender that there are more patrons than just his friends and we are thirsty too. But the place was super chill. Nice to be in a low key atmosphere

We stayed at South Mountain Resort (SMR) and launched our three days of midweek skiing from this location. It's relatively small compared to most lodges, but was convenient to SMR and less busy than the main lodges.
